Welcome!

My name is Dan Shier – a young artist, designer, and activist.

This website serves as my creative sandbox, professional online portfolio, and space for wibbly wobbly odds and ends.

About Dan

Currently living in Regina, Saskatchewan, Shier is completing his Bachelors of Arts in Visual Arts with a self-declared concentration in Print Media. He is highly involved in campus life – working at the University of Regina Students’ Union as their Senior Graphic Designer and volunteering at the UR Pride Centre for Sexuality and Gender Diversity as their External Relations chair.

Shier’s interests include print and digital media, design, photography, technology, and travel. At a young age, Shier has been immersed in creating digital images using the tools made available to him. Many of his skills are self-learned and fine-tuned through his academic experience. He has produced hundreds of poster designs and several logos for clients, school groups, and non-profit organizations.

Shier uses his skills to benefit the causes he believes in. As a dedicated board member of the UR Pride Centre, he has created and developed a visual identity for the organization over four years of active involvement. The UR Pride Centre has thrived since a rebranding initiative and an increase in programming – all of which required developments of a visual presence that made a presence.
